Chifles were featured on the Food Network by "Unwrapped" (episode titled Tropical Treats) and Ingrid Hoffman on "Simply Delicioso" (episode titled Paint Party).

Chifles were featured by the "Daytime" Television program by resident food critic, Larry Cotton, as a healthy alternative to the usual chip. This program is filmed in Tampa, but is shown in 6 large Southeastern Markets on their NBC affiliates.

Chifles were also the subject of a segment in a local City of Tampa Spanish language program, "Que Pasa Tampa?". We were featured in the history segment. Even if you don't speak Spanish, take a look! You get to see the real backstory on how Chifles are made.

2007 - Hillsborough County Community College Culinary School Dessert
HCC's Culinary School Board of Directors, and the Culinary School developed a Plantains Foster dessert the students made especially for plantains using Chifles Plantain Strips as a garnish. They served it at the Presidents' big gala fundraiser ball in 2007. It was a huge hit.

"Chifles" on the big screen in September. The new movie "Fighting", starring Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard, Directed by Dito Monteil, will be premiering in April, 2009 nationwide. The producers asked for "Chifles" to place in some of the interior scenes.
